23 Million Halloween Dogs

Posted by

Have you noticed in the last few years that Halloween has become a hugely popular event for dogs? According to the National Retail Federation's Halloween Headquarters, 2014 will see over 23 million dogs get dressed up in Halloween costumes. Here are the 10 Hottest Dog Halloween Costume Trends of 2014. Which one is your favourite?

And for those dogs who just can't bring themselves to bear the humiliation of being dressed as bumble bees, hot dogs, dinosaurs and other possibly embarrassing attire, our dog biscuit greeting cards are a super fun and tasty way to celebrate Halloween (and distract your pups from the pail of candy and chocolate bars.) Our most popular Halloween message is Trick or Treat - your friend will just keep doing tricks until all the treats are gone!!!

Want to create your own original scary message? Our customers are so creative! Some of their ideas include "Ghostly Goodies For (Name)", "Happy Howls (Name)", or anything that says BOO! Are you up for this spooky challenge? What would your biscuit message to your fur pal say?

More fun facts:
-The top dog costume again this year is a pumpkin.
-Witches, devils and cats (how humiliating!) are also classics
-Americans will spend 350 million on pet costumes this year (compared to 1 billion on children's costumes)
-Over 70% of Americans celebrate Halloween
-75 million Americans will dress up
-There will be about 5 million witches, 3 million princesses, 3 million Spider Men, 2 million pirates and 2 million Batmen
